Easiest Ways to Relieve Knee Pain

Knee pain is one of the most common problems that affect people of all ages. Normally, knee pain occurs during old ages (high Weight, Age, lack of walking these are the common issues to get knee pain), but, they can occur even in children’s as well as teenagers and is caused due to several reasons like poor life styles, obesity, injuries, arthritis, lack of strength and abnormalities in structure. Your knee joints serve a vital role holding up your bodyweight and are put through even more pressure when you walk, run or jump. Knee pain is very common, both from sport injuries and the wear and tear of day to day life. Any kind of trauma or injury to the knee joint can affect your knee functions.

If you want pain free knee just identifying yourself which of the knee functions can affected and them (Sudden injury, Overuse Injury or by an underlying condition such as arthritis) but treatment will vary depending on the cause. In early stage knee pain can be reversed completely expect for sudden injury or severe trauma but one the damage as gone beyond repair, you can only rely on surgery and knee replacement option. Symptoms of knee injury can include pain, swelling and stiffness. Here are some easiest tips that can relieve knee pain.

Maintain a Healthy Weight

I can’t emphasize this enough. Carrying extra pounds (weight or obese) can expert additional pressure on your joints and contribute to knee pain. Losing just 4 to 5 percent of your weight could significantly reduce the amount of stress and pressure exerted on your knee joints. So consult your doctor or physiotherapist about developing a healthy eating plan and exercise program to help you lose weight sensibly.

Take natural foods & fruits and walk up to 45 minutes twice daily, sure to help reduce or control your weight then reverse knee pain. 

Massage Therapy and Exercise

Massage will help in soothing the pain and the aches around your knee area. It is only effective for your affected area, Please do not apply unwanted pain areas. Warm five or six tablespoons of olive oil or natural oil (Coconut oil, Groundnut oil and more) and apply it smoothly in the knee area. Make sure that you gently massage the area for 20 to 25 minutes. Basically exercise improves overall endurance or the ability of your knee to perform the do the same job over and over again (The best knee strengthening would be walking or jogging).

Basically your body is composed of roughly 60 percent of water that means when we are dehydrated and most of us spend our days constantly dehydrated to some degree. Water is a natural home remedies to relieve knee pain, to drink 3 to 4 liters for water daily to reduce your weight and keep to avoid knee pain. Water & staying hydrated is the best thing you can do for your joints. 

Pain Killer

For immediately relief, a topical painkiller in the form of spray or gel (There are many painkillers available in the medical center) would be helpful if your knee pain is caused due to a recent injury. Pain killer is only a temporary treatment for recent injury, but major injury on joint please consults your doctor. You can take acetaminophen or ibuprofen pills for immediate relief.
