Healthy Foods to Eat During Pregnancy

A healthy diet is an important part of a healthy lifestyle at any time in your life, but is especially vital if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy (Gravidity or Gestation). During pregnancy time which one or more offspring develops inside a women (such as with twins or normal one baby). It usually lasts around 40 weeks from the LMP (Last menstrual period) and ends in childbirth. In that time every women take care of himself and find out what are the healthiest foods during in that time. Nausea and vomiting, Pica, Anaemia, Pregnancy induced hypertension and Gestational diabetes mellitus, these all symptoms occur every women during pregnancy. You don’t need to go on special diet, but it’s important to eat a variety of different foods (Healthiest foods) every day to get the right balance of nutrients that you and your baby need.Pregnancy is a crucial time For Women to eat more iron, calcium, protein, vitamin A, Vitamin B and Vitamin C, Floate, Magnesium, Selenium and Zinc Needed in that time. These all nutrition’s are found in the natural foods and natural vegetables and fruits.

Early sign of Pregnancy:

Look for these signs if you think you might be pregnant, Check with an obstetrician if you have even a few of these symptoms.

1.       Missing Periods

2.       Implantation bleeding

3.       Fatigue

4.       Nausea, Vomiting, Backaches and Headaches

Fruits and Vegetables

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables because these provide vitamins and minerals and fiber, which help digestion and can help prevent constipation. Pregnancy women eat at least five portions of variety of fruits and vegetables a day. Here some fruits to eat during pregnancy like Avocados (It is rich in folic acid), Mangoes (It contains Vitamin A and Vitamin C that are healthy for Pregnant women), Lime (Reduce Nausea morning sickness and Common health problems during pregnancy), Bananas, Orange (It is loaded with vitamins and nutrients) and Apple (It is rich in vitamins that are good for the whole body). Papaya, Black Grapes and Pineapples, these three fruits to avoid pregnancy time.

Protein Foods

Protein (60g of protein every day is a must for optimum development of baby and also developed baby’s organs and bones) is one of the most important nutrients that you need to consume during pregnancy. It helps proper growth of cells, production of blood and provides for the needs of the growing baby. Dairy Products (Milk), Seeds and Nuts, Beans and Legumes, Oats and Fish. These all foods are high in protein and help you and your baby.

High protein always recommended during pregnancy as it helps to maintain a healthy blood sugar levels and provide healthy growth of baby.

Dairy Products

Milk, Cheese, Yogurt and more. These all dairy products are important during pregnancy. Because they contain calcium and other nutrients that your baby needs. At least 4 servings of milk and dairy products every day is best. Milk contains Calcium (It help bone strength), Vitamin A, Vitamin D, Vitamin E and Vitamin E.One cup or 8 ounces of milk provides approximately 300mg, one cup of low fat yogurt provides approximately 450mg.This helps to maintain a healthy weight and blood sugar levels.
